It's only
taken 14
weeks, but
the 2007 NFA
postseason
is finally
here!
What a
tumultuous
and dramatic
season it's
been so far,
and one can
only hope
that the
drama
continues
for the next
two weeks as
four teams
vie for the
ultimate
prize - the
Halas Cup.
In the NFC, the NFA's two oldest franchises will once
again do
battle for
conference
supremacy as
the 11-3
Baltimore
Vengeance
will host
the 8-6
San
Francisco
Dogs.
As usual,
the season
series was
split.
This is the
fifth time
in twelve
years that
these two
teams will
face each
other in the
NFC
Championship
Game, with
San
Francisco
winning
three of the
previous
four
battles.
In the SFC, the defending champion
Colorado
Phanatics,
sporting an
11-3 record,
will host
the 8-6
Motor City
Gamblers.
Colorado
swept the
season
series with
Motor City,
but Motor
City will be
playing for
the ultimate
respect as
the Gamblers
will try
once again
to finally
get over the
first-round
playoff hump
that has
become a
mountain
over the
years.
Meanwhile,
Colorado
looks to
further
cement its
place in NFA
history as
the one and
only
dynasty,
hoping to
earn its
fourth title
in six
years.
For the other teams in the League, planning for the
2008 season
can begin.
The first
six spots of
the 2008
draft order
are already
set: (1)
Los Angeles,
(2)
Fresno,
(3)
Richmond,
(4)
Carolina,
(5)
Miami
and (6)
Michigan.
